The Doggy Duty box is constructed using a dense Brazilian hardwood called Ipe (ee-pay). Ipe or Ironwood is well suited to withstand Portland's rainy season, as it is the material used for ocean piers. Its dense nature provides resistance to rot and odors.
The Doggy Duty box is completely leak-proof. The base is made of poly-ethylene plastic which will not absorb odors and ensures easy cleaning of your box. Doggy Duty boxes may be purchased without grass replacement service.
